I just realized the absurdity of the name of this Chinese delicacy. I cannot believe I haven't made a steamed bun joke yet. I've only made cinnamon bun jokes. Oh, it's good to be alive and be a 'third year.'Things That Set Off The Flat Fire Alarms: Fire. Smoke from incence, cigarettes, or toasters. Hair blowers. Overheating electronics. And apparently, hot showers.
Yes, the water from the showers turn into steam at high temperatures and sets off the alarms.
I. Love. This. Country. Where water is cause for fire alarms.
Of course, the only person this has happened to is Dave. If it had happened to me, I'd probably make a crack about how I'm so sizzling hot that my showers set off fire alarms. But it happened to Dave. So I won't. Because then it wouldn't be true. (Snap!)

Yesterday though, i have to admit that it was our flat which caused the alarm (for the second time in a week)- you should add another item to your list off things which set off the student fire alarms... thin air apparently

i like how pretty much this entire blog is about me, thanks joy... but at least its only you and me that know about the buns jokes... so lets keep those to ourselves!
It is indeed true thou that im so sizzingly hot that i set off fire alarms if i contact water in close proximity to one... its a thorn in the side that i will just have to live with!
